ELLENBARGER, Blanche Phillips - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Ellenbarger, age 78, who died at noon Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Briner, two miles north of Veedersburg, were held Friday, Jan. 19, at the Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard officiated. Interment was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Ellenbarger was born in Covington Nov. 2, 1883, a daughter of John and Inda Miles Phillips. She married Harry Ellenbarger, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ellenbarger had been in failing health 20 years and seriously ill six weeks. Surviving besides the daughter are two sons, Ray and John of Veedersburg Rt. 2, and two grandchildren. Three sisters preceded Mrs. Ellenbarger in death.
